Through practice on actual projects, this six-lesson course focuses on the following concepts: ​ Machine knowledge, Threading and Tension, Straight stitch, Zig-zag, Curves, Pivoting, Pressing, Seam Allowance, Fabric Knowledge, Top-stitching, Casing/Basic Hems. Intro students will create a Final Project of their choice during the last two sessions. Materials for this project are provided by the student. Project ideas can be discussed with the instructor during the first two sessions. In a 2-person course, both students make the same project. ​ Tuition is $199/private ($259/two-person) and includes a customized instruction booklet plus daily project materials. The introductory course is a great opportunity to explore a new hobby. Students who want to continue learning register for Weekly Lessons next. HOW TO BOOK THIS COURSE: 1.
