Gain a solid foundation and establish correct techniques. Through practice on actual projects, this six-lesson course focuses on the following concepts: ​ Machine knowledge, Threading and Tension, Straight stitch, Zig-zag, Curves, Pivoting, Pressing, Seam Allowance, Fabric Knowledge, Turning Seams, Top-stitching, Casing, Gathering. Intro students will create a Final Project of their choice during the last two sessions. Materials for this project are provided by the student. Project ideas can be discussed with the instructor during the second session. ​ Tuition is $150/private ($225/two-person) and includes a customized instruction booklet plus daily project materials. The introductory course is a great opportunity to explore a new hobby. Students who want to continue learning register for Weekly Lessons next. HOW TO BOOK THIS COURSE: 1. Contact Amy, amy@saltcitysewing.com or click the "Request More Info" button on the homepage. 2. We will discuss your availability and customize a schedule for six lessons. 3. Payment is due at or before the first session. Take this course with a friend for 50% more, $225. Enter both names on one registration and I will send you an adjusted invoice.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel: Please contact me by call or text as soon as you know you need to reschedule. Refunds will not be given for lessons or workshops but I will do everything I can to reschedule for you provided I receive at least 2 hours notice. Camp refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to camp beginning. I respectfully ask that you stay home if you are unwell for any reason or know you have been around someone who is ill, even if it means a last-minute rescheduling. Thank you! 434-284-0290
