Service Description

With private lessons you can learn at your pace, build on what you know, study what interests you, and practice on projects of your choosing. Journey through concepts such as hems, gathering, facings, buttonholes, zippers, stretch fabrics, patterns, presser feet, needles and more. Gain confidence in your sewing skills through understanding the how and why. Each booking under "Weekly Lessons" requires a month commitment, unless previous arrangements have been made. Prior students may schedule single lessons for trouble-shooting. How to book: 1. Choose from 60-minute lessons ($25/week) or 90-minute lessons ($37.50/week) 2. Select your preferred day/time and click Book Now, completing registration for the start date of your choice. 3. LESSONS WILL BE BOOKED OUT FOR THE FOLLOWING MONTH from your start date. Add a friend or family member for the 2-person rate (2nd person is half-off). There is a one-time $10 materials fee for each new student, due with your first month tuition. Basic materials will be provided to give you hands-on practice when learning new concepts. With the instructor you'll choose larger, multi-week projects to complete once foundational skills are established. Materials for these projects are provided by the student. 90-minute lessons are recommended if you're working on detailed projects in class, or prefer to meet every other week vs once a week. This length class is also recommended for 2-person lessons. Lessons are scheduled for a regular day and time with a monthly commitment. Tuition is charged for the number of lessons in a month, due at the first lesson each month. Begin any time of the year. Missed or makeup class policies will be sent out with your registration information.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel: Please contact me by call or text as soon as you know you need to reschedule. Refunds will not be given for lessons or workshops but I will do everything I can to reschedule for you provided I receive at least 2 hours notice. Camp refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to camp beginning. I respectfully ask that you stay home if you are unwell for any reason or know you have been around someone who is ill, even if it means a last-minute rescheduling. Thank you! 434-284-0290
