Service Description

For anyone new to sewing, we'll begin with the basics! The goal of BootCamp is to help you confidently navigate your machine's basic functions. Choose BootCamp to learn about: guided straight & curved seams adjusting stitch length & width threading upper & bobbin threads zig zags, pivoting & backstitch We'll create a couple of simple projects that allow you to become confident with the basics of sewing. You'll come away with enough knowledge to be successful in any beginner-level project workshop at Salt City Sewing Studio. All materials are provided. It is best to sew on the machine you'll use at home, but studio machines are available upon request. Please note: A minimum of 3 students is required to hold this session. If the minimum is not met 10 days before BootCamp you will be given the option to reschedule for a future workshop or receive a refund. Tuition is due on or before BootCamp. A 10% sibling discount is offered for 2+ registrations at the same workshop.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel: Please contact me by call or text as soon as you know you need to reschedule. Refunds will not be given for lessons or workshops but I will do everything I can to reschedule for you provided I receive at least 2 hours notice. Camp refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to camp beginning. I respectfully ask that you stay home if you are unwell for any reason or know you have been around someone who is ill, even if it means a last-minute rescheduling. Thank you! 434-284-0290
