*Students must be pre-registered with Sentinel Scholars for the Machine Sewing Course* Start from the beginning and become confident in machine sewing basics. This class focuses on helping students understand the “why” and not just the “what”, so they can apply their skills to future independent sewing. Through simple projects, this course will master the basics and also introduce concepts such as hems, closures (buttonholes and zippers), knit fabrics, and some clothing sewing concepts. We’ll learn how to read, follow and fit a commercial pattern and we’ll finish the year by making our own pajama pants and t-shirts. It is assumed students will provide their own machine; however a limited number of machines are available to rent from the instructor for in-class use only. Cost: $400/two-semester course

Cancellation Policy

To cancel: Please contact me by call or text as soon as you know you need to reschedule. Refunds will not be given for lessons or workshops but I will do everything I can to reschedule for you provided I receive at least 2 hours notice. Camp refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to camp beginning. I respectfully ask that you stay home if you are unwell for any reason or know you have been around someone who is ill, even if it means a last-minute rescheduling. Thank you! 434-284-0290
