Service Description

This 6-session course starts from the beginning! Learn how to use your machine for straight and curved seams, edge-finishing, basic hems and more. Become confident in threading, winding a bobbin, and troubleshooting common issues. Demonstrate what you learn each week with simple projects. With a strong foundation you can learn to sew anything well. Participants must be age 9 or older. This group will be limited to six participants, and a minimum of four must be registered. Tell your friends and co-ops! Save 15% when siblings register together. All materials and tools for weeks 1-4 are provided in the fee. The final two weeks will be spent making a lined drawstring backpack, materials to be provided by the student. It is recommended you bring your own machine to gain confidence in using it for future sewing, however studio machines are available upon request. Alternatively you may register for the private Introductory Course and start anytime! This course covers the same subjects and is for 1-2 people.
