Limited to 6 students! You can muddle through figuring out your machine on your own, or you can get a great start here! Come learn the tips you need to gain confidence and start sewing...finally. What you will learn: How to thread your machine (properly) How to sew uniform straight seams (curved ones, too) The what, when and how of stitch length and width What seam allowance is and how to maintain it Using fabric scissors and irons Hand sewing (the ladder stitch) Tips, tricks and much more What you will make as we learn*: Patriotic decorative pillow Lined drawstring knapsack (*subject to minor changes; fabric options available) Skills required for this camp: None (discouraged beginners will also appreciate this workshop) What to bring: Your machine (optional, but recommended if you have questions) All other materials are INCLUDED A $15 deposit will be requested at checkout. Deposits will be applied to your tuition balance and are fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to camp beginning. A minimum of 3 registered students is required to hold this camp.
