Service Description

With private lessons you can learn at your pace, build on what you know, study what interests you, and practice on projects of your choosing. Journey through concepts such as hems, gathering, facings, buttonholes, zippers, stretch fabrics, patterns, presser feet, needles and more. Gain confidence in your sewing skills through understanding the how and why. Simple projects will be provided to give you hands-on practice when learning a new concept. With the instructor you'll choose larger, multi-week projects to complete during lessons. Materials for these projects are provided by the student. 90-minute lessons are recommended if you're working on detailed projects in class, or prefer to meet every other week vs once a week. Lessons are scheduled for a regular day/time. Tuition is charged for the number of lessons in a month, and is due at the first lesson of the month. Any schedule changes should be requested by the 20th for the following month. No long-term commitment required, start anytime of year. How to book: 1. Choose from 60-minute lessons ($25/week) or 90-minute lessons ($37/week) 2. Select your preferred day/time and click Book Now 3. On the description page click Book Now again 4. Fill out the relevant information on the form 5. I'll get back to you to confirm your start date and the sessions for the first month. Add a friend or family member for the 2-person rate (2nd person is half-off).

Cancellation Policy

To cancel: Please contact me by call or text as soon as you know you need to reschedule. Refunds will not be given for lessons or workshops but I will do everything I can to reschedule for you provided I receive at least 2 hours notice. Camp refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to camp beginning. I respectfully ask that you stay home if you are unwell for any reason or know you have been around someone who is ill, even if it means a last-minute rescheduling. Thank you! 434-284-0290
